They will be hosting a FREE informational session at Sulzer Library at 4455 N. Lincoln from 7 – 8:30pm.

They’ll give tips on navigating the wide range of options beyond the SE High Schools (yeah!).

They suggest bringing a laptop to bookmark some important links they will share.

This site is the CPS’ own site about choosing high schools. It’s alos free, and comprehensive.

I applaud those who are offering help w/ CPS school admissions, but I must say that I think it is sad that we have gotten to the point where we need education consultants & “GPS” to navigate CPS school options and our kids “need” test prep to score well on the SEHS admissions exam & on their ISATS. Not the way it should be.

Hi All, I assume with Lane’s academic center, this now means fewer slots for the high school. Does anyone have a sense of the numbers?

What do you think?
