Actually it is our class’s second round (one in the fall), but this one was worse. It is a nightmare for all. My son was spared so far…I must stress “so far,” as we have lots of of playdates and sleepovers with classmates outside of school. Rumors, gossip (sample: “Can you believe so-and-so’s mom refused to use chemicals–she only used mayonnaise!!”), calls to the nurse, and bizarre discussions about the transportation habits of lice seemed to fill our days. This too shall pass. Hang in there!
