thanks for the explanation of your flip-flop. We can still be friends.

I've got a good homework story for you. Can you help me with the definition of "mass"? I got into a discussion with my 2nd grader tonight who insisted that her teacher said it means weight. I said "no, that is not right". She then said "I swear mom, trust me, it means weight" to which I said "but Websters says volume and so does my 44 years of experience on this planet" and then she replied in ernest "but mom, I'm a truthful kid, the teacher says it means weight".
So is it me not remembering correctly? (quite possible) Webster's wrong (can't imagine that)?
or some new definition from Trail Blazers(very, very possible since for over a week in 1st grade TB had my kid measuring things with things. Guess a ruler is old fashioned too)?

What to do when you can't figure out 2nd grade homework???

Did you get the teacher's manual for your son's curriculum? Is that possible?

For example, our local school says they use Saxon Math and there are teachers manuals, parent's manuals and Home School manuals available online.

BTW, poop and robots are also major interests for my son.
